On 15 May 2018, the first day of the Summit, we’ll delve into five exciting topics at the deep-dive sessions: transparency to create change, closed-loop business models, transparency’s future, supply chain efficiency and purchasing practices.

This session’s participants will discuss whether the industry’s recent traceability efforts actually enable positive change, and if so, how. They will also explore if and why these efforts have yet to deliver concrete improvements on the ground for important actors, such as cotton farmers and garment workers, and what measures might prove more effective, one possible example being reward systems for supply chain partners with better practices. BUSINESS MODELS FOR A CLOSED-LOOP FASHION SYSTEM

Closing the loop of fashion represents an immense value proposition, but also comes with a number of challenges. In a closed-loop fashion system, items are designed and recycled to avoid waste while generating value. This session will ask, what does circularity mean today, and how do we get from hype and down to real business? See full description.

Global Fashion Agenda uses social media plug-ins from Facebook. How Global Fashion Agenda stores cookies
