If you want to explore Copenhagen, make sure to visit one or more of its neighbourhoods:

City Centre (and Christianshavn) is known as the historical heart of Copenhagen with characteristic old houses and charming narrow streets full of life.

Inner Østerbro is the more peaceful, relaxed yet chic area of Copenhagen. Here you will find a pleasant combination of cosy cafés and green areas close to the pulsating city life.

Vesterbro is the urban hip part of Copenhagen that exudes creativity with everything from art studios to cafés and small exceptional shops.

Nørrebro is a prosperous multicultural area, also known as one of the hippest neighbourhoods in Copenhagen.

Frederiksberg C is where you will find a mix of grand old houses, broad beautiful streets with trees and small exclusive shopping streets with carefully selected shops.

Islands Brygge is a unique, central waterfront area with an interesting mix of old and new architecture, still rapidly growing.

    Where to eat?

Copenhagen has a wide range of restaurants offering everything you could possibly desire. Among these are a lot of different mostly organic places; coffee shops and cafés, (Michelin) restaurants, food markets and takeaway places, which all serve either an entirely or largely organic menu.
